I'm trying to find a home for a coming 2 yr old, bay thoroughbred colt. He is one of 11 that have found there way to my house in the last couple of weeks. He is correct, has no vices, lots of bone, presently stands 14.3hh. This fellow is super quiet and has no idea that he is not gelded.
Would trade for??? Older western saddle???
I really don't have a stall for him and he is such a sweet little man that truly deserves more out of life....Anyone have spot for him?

I don't have a spot to offer but just wanted to say thanks for taking him in and networking to find him a "good spot" rather than the alternative. Hats off and cheers :)

It has been a crazy fall with alot of extra horses coming and going. Some pretty tough ones to place. I have been able to sell most of them into homes. Two where foundered. Others where older broodmares that are now starting a new career as pleasure horses. Kind of a lucky bunch.
This colt is one of the last ones to go. It would have been nice to get something back to cover the cost of feed and transportation. But you can't make money on them all!
I didn't think it seemed right for a handsome boy like this to go to auction.
So if someone would give him a good home and do right by him, I think I would just give him away at this point.

I would have edited my reply but didn't know how.
I should ad he would likely have gone to auction had he not come here.
I had know intention of taking him there as it may have sounded like in the last post.

Wish I could help Adveristy, but unfortunately no horse is free ;) ;) ;) - and I definitely echo Rachels' comments re: good for you for helping so many - good luck with this lovely sounding boy.
