Yep, that sums it up Sixhorses!
Its brutal here... just brutal... the wind is still strong, though not near as bad as last night, I was really afraid we might blow away!
My goats are thoroughly disgusted... they did stand outside for a while this afternoon, behind a wind break, in the sun, but they really want to be lying flat out in the grass in the WARM sunshine. I DID remind them today (because I'm a crazy goat lady that has long in depth conversations with her goats ) that at least there are no horse or deer flies today. They weren't impressed and I will deserve the next bite I receive, I'm sure
I'm glad we're almost to February, it doesn't mean spring, I know, but its one more hurdle closer!!! Stay warm everyone! GP who can't sum it up in just 3 words! Reply by RachelJanuary 30, 2010 10:24AM
Brutal out there this morning...I can only clean 2 stalls at a time then need to come in for a de-thaw. Suppose to warm up a bit tomorrow. Hubby called from Quebec and it was -26 when he woke up
Horses are running and bucking like crazy. Probably wondering why the heck they came in a bit early and went out a bit late. Donkey and goats think they best just stay in though LOL! Reply by GiantponyJanuary 30, 2010 10:51AM
Its sunny this morning and not too windy... still -30C with the wind chill.... the goats are actually out of the shed this morning, I fed them hay outside in a sunny but out of the wind place... they are as happy as goats can be in January.
