I'm looking for a black bridle for a small (near mini) pony and a toddler sized helmet. I thought there was a tackshop dedicated to pony's and kids in Ontario, but I can't find it anywhere. Anyone know where I can find tiny tiny tack? No serious rush - just want it by summer. Not wanting fancy bridles either - We have the synthetic saddle in black - would like a nice plain-ish black leather bridle - but nice synthetic will work too. Greenhawk didn't have a small enough helmet.

Here are a couple that might have what you're looking for (the first one is going out of business too so lots of deals!):

Good luck!

Brubachers has small bridles. A friend got the cutest little bridle for $30 there. It was nicer than the one I bought from a tack store.

Id buy a new helmet and stay away from used. I like the ones with the dial on the back for a snug fit.

why is the first one going out of business so soon?
Im always leary of online shopping from places without a history to back them up.

sstack in the states always has great deals on stuff and they have all sizes too.

The first one was the one I was thinking of - but couldn't find on googles search - Thank you!

I was going to buy new on the helmet for sure - but it is quite hard to find for kids that small... The smallest green hawk had was still huge on her - she will grow a bit before she needs it - but they were all WAY too big.

Off to check the links

Wanted to post for anyone else looking - I found a Aegis Pony Junior helmet in Monaco (velvet looks plastic helmet) at the Foxhunter tack shop in Stouffville - $59.95

Still working on the bridle... I contacted the guy I bought my pony harness from - we'll see if he can help.

English stuff seems easier to find - if you don't mind paying $80+ I'm trying to avoid that if I can.... can't have the pony in the most expensive tack - lol

Yah - the expensive ones are out there - but really do we need that for leadline class with an 18month old with a $189 new saddle?? lol I figure I may find something at a coop or the like.

I got a mini nylon western bridle with leather overlay (it was brown though) from these guys [www.cassiosumacresarabians.com] I think it was $20. I bought it to fit our mini Fancy whom we lost last year. It also fits the mini Donk. I recently tried it on my 12hh pony and the browband is too tight but I beleive she also has pony size. I was ordering the rainsheets and wanted the free shipping so needed to get to $100 ;)

LOL on the free shipping... I'll try them, thanks - mini would likely fit her - she's just a wee little thing.

thanks Rachel, that's the website for the links I sent earlier - same place up in Markdale, but now the main site!
MBRA518 did you try them?

Yup - nothing on the site... Black pony bridles are really hard to find!
